Since we were rained in today, Julian and I built a castle out of blocks for his Elmo action figure. Julian is mechanical and proud of his creations. Nonetheless, a castle of blocks is meant to be toppled. Below is video of this carnal tendency.

I took Julian to his first baseball game on Saturday: the Mets versus the Nationals, at Citi Field in Queens. Julian enjoyed the game. He sat and watched the (relatively quick) game, all two hours, and clapped along with the rest of the fans. We enjoyed some Edy’s Dibs ice cream nuggets on this perfect Fall day.… Read the rest
One of the unfortunate turnoffs of big entertainment acts is the accompanying rules that forbid audience recording or broadcasting. Such policies cast a negative tone even months before the event. Consider the ubiquitous “NO CAMERAS/VIDEO/RECORDER” warnings that boldly talk down to fans on Ticketmaster-issued tickets.
